It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me — several weeks! — and there’s a reason for that.

As tax season is to accountants, Microsoft Awards season is to Mercer-MacKay, and we’re in the thick of it right now. As we skidded across the finish line of Inspire Awards Friday night, one lesson from this busy season stood out in my mind:

Be consistent.

Consistently delivering quality work will show your clients that they can count on you, and will keep them coming back. It’s even more critical when you’re on a tight production schedule, and missing the mark can have consequences you didn’t foresee.

If you’re not consistent, you’ll get bypassed in favor of someone who is.

Watch more in the video below (or read the transcript here), and be sure to drop me a line and tell me what you do to stay consistent in your writing business.

Until next week,

Believe. Be Brave. Go Write!
